Wow Feeding Pets?

My first hunter character on WoW just learned the ability to tame pets, what I need to know is how do I feed it. The manual was no help and every online guide was no help ether they just say feed it but how. (Yes I am still a bit of a newb.)

You are right theres not alot in the ways of out about your pets anymore, i checked both hutner forums at wow US and wow eu. however theres a good guide, which i’ll source below and the website its from is dedicated to hunters in wow, so worth checking out
lol yah u are a newb but no worries man just click pet details right and it will tell u what it can eat than just drag and click the food to your pet….thats it man
