This is typical liberal smear campaigns. Even CNN turned it down. They showd his cancer scares. DNC ran it. HOWARD DEAN’S BROTHER IS BEHIND ALL THE CRAP. So much for the curious George shirt being bad…….

Despicable, but not surprising.
the only channel that would run the ad is MSNBC. Fox and CNN and others all turned down the ad. That kinda tells you what is behind the ad since msnbc is owned by two outspoken Obama supporters.
The ad was made by a PAC and is not associated with Obama campaign.
Edit: Melanoma is not an instant death sentence or instant impairment. My sister had it and after first surgery and treatment it came back 4 years later and she chose not to go through further treatment. Yes, it slowly spread…but she fully functioned for 12 years with only her husband and I knowing anything was wrong with her. She raised 4 active boys while doing PTA and part time librarian. It in no way affected her brain or physical activity until the very end. McCain’s family has a history of long life, with his mother still active at 96. He will live a long life…cancer or no cancer. No one questions Obama’s family history of cancer with his mom dying of cancer at 52 while he still smokes. It is not relevant.
I have to LOL at that. Isn’t it the Democratic party that says you cannot discriminate on the basis of AGE or “handicap?”
Hopefully McCain will take the high road and NOT respond with an ad pointing out the fact that Joe Biden has suffered TWO brain aneurysms, one of which required surgery and nearly killed him (1988).

I can’t believe you wingnuts! Firstly, McCain’s cancer is not a disability. You need to look up the definition of disability, if that’s what you’re going to use for a shallow defense. There is such a thing as cancer-causing disabilities, but Old Man McCain doesn’t have that. We all know McCain does have disabilities, all from his repeatedly (over and over and over and…) mentioned POW experience, which you hear NOBODY on the left saying anything less than thoughtful respect with regards to that fact.
Secondly, these topics are completely valid to discuss and bring attention to. The idea that a complete whackjob like Palin could gain control of our country would start a revolution. There’s no way that nut belongs in power, and a cancerous old man (who’s bad enough by himself) is all that would stand between her and our country’s slide into Christian Fascism. I think it’s very important that everybody who is going to vote know MCCAIN IS THE OLDEST PERSON TO HAVE EVER RUN FOR PRESIDENT & HAS AN ONGOING BATTLE WITH CANCER. And don’t pull that Reagan spin with me. He was 68 when he ran for his first term, and by the end they couldn’t keep him awake and he couldn’t remember squat.
Thirdly having cancer and being old does effect job performance. That whole Curious George racism event doesn’t have anything to do with the man’s ability to lead. So when you compare snide racial insults with legitimate health issues, it just shows how clueless (and sooooo desperate) you really are.

John McCain does have cancer, and yes, he is to old to be in the White House. I think the stress of it all would be terrible, and I don’t think he would be able to run things properly. I am sorry that he has cancer, but I hope he doesn’t go the the White House, now or ever.

Just heard on the news that the only network that is running it is NBC…shocking …the ‘nobody but barack channel’. They are a mockery to journalism, and I will never watch that channel since I have seen that they have been actively CAMPAIGNING for obama..that is NOT their job.

I’ve been watching MSNBC all day and I have not seen this commercial. An earlier post claimed they saw it on FOX, O’Reilly ran it saying how despicable it was. Curious, that the only channel showing it is FOX!!!

As for his health – yes it is a concern since Palin is very much UNQUALIFIED to take his place. Her interviews are embarrassing for small town people
i just saw it five minutes ago on fox news, thats low, president roosevelt (2nd) was one of the greatest presidents that ever lived, the new deal, ww2 etc. and he died in office!!!, health shouldn’t concern politics

McCain is over 70 years old (that is not young). And McCain has battled skin cancer at least 4 times. That is not new news, but has been known by nearly everyone.
