Will My Friend Be Banned From World Of Warcraft?

my mate got powerleveling When i say powerleveling i mean paying a company to level for you, my mate did this from lvel 60-70 and my other mate has reported him to gm, is there any real proof tha blizzard can take to ban him? it has been 2 weeks since he ha powerleveled so do blizzard still have proof? i don’t want him to be banned, though he did cheat.

    It is possible that he will be banned. Blizzard can look at the IP addresses that logged into the account. If they find that he was magically playing from China and the US in the same day, multiple times, then it would be pretty obvious that he shared his account information. If he did not log onto his account at all during the time the powerleveling was happening, then it would be hard to prove that he didn’t just take a trip to China or wherever the powerleveling serivice played from.

    Yes Blizzard will still ahve evidence. They keep logs of everyones IP addresses. In this case they will be able to see that the activity is coming from a powerlever rather than your friend.
    However hopefully he will be banned Blizzard down’t have too good a track record at it. I’d imagine at most he will be locked out for a week or two as punishment rather than a complete ban.
    Look on the brightside of that it allows you time to level up past him and get a load of gold ;P

    well, the only way blizzard can prove anything, is by looking at the IP address the the account has been logged on from, other than that i don’t think ur friend will get banned, but i dont know why he did this in the first place

    If he did in fact powerlevel and Blizzard finds out, he can and most mlikely will get banned. Blizzard takes anything that violates the ToS very seriously.

    i think he wont be banned because there are millions of people powerleveling and over half of them don’t get caught so i think he will be fine. And tell your other mate to stop snitching.
