Whats the best to make a lot of money in WoW without cheating at a 40ish. Im 39 and I wanna make some money :) Please post anything thats useful :)

    Mining and Herbalism.
    Keep gathering and Mining, stock up on all the Ore’s and Herbs, then mass sell them on Auction house for Below Average Prices.
    Because they will be a much lower price, people will go for them than the more expensive ones, thus, getting you more gold in the long run.

    Auctioning anything you dont need. I have 6 characters encompassing all professions. I can make the most money with my JC outright. But I send all green or better items to my mage (ench/tail) to enchant and auction. I do not try to make the most money with my auctions, generally just twice the starting price, unless it is an ingrediant than I check to see what others are selling for and go under.
    Try running lower lvl instances solo to get items.

    Killing monsters is good, but for a skill, herbalism and and making potions is a good money maker.

    Get mining and herbalism and keep going through Deadmines mining and killing. Disenchant all the green and blue items and sell the mats at the AH along with metal bars and stones from mining. Each run should get you 10-20g.

    skinning and leatherworking, since your 40 ish you can solo SFK if your hord and skin then go to auction house….or you can mine…
