Whats better a mage of paladin?

hey im wondering what class is better in wow a mage or a paladin. and im talking about pure dps so ret and probably arcane or frost.
What im asking is:
What is more needed in guilds?
Which is better in pvp?
What is easier to farm gold and run low level instances?
And which is more fun at 80 in your opinion?
This is for World of Warcraft.

    Hmm spell casters are probably the best DPS in the game so Mage for DPS.
    Paladin is one of the most overused, cheap, classes in the game, Guild’s will need Mages a lot more.
    A good mage is as good if not better as a good paladin.
    Paladin would probably be good at AOE and Taking a lot of damage so their better for farming and instances.
    Mage would be probably a lot funnier at 80 since Pally’s get bored fast.

    i like paladins more! they usually good as tanks but ive had almost every different class out there and enjoy them all.

    Hah well this is always based on personal preference.
    Any class can be amazing if played correctly.
    But for your needs I would go with the Paladin.

    Q1 – Pally is more needed in guilds. (Tank/DPS/Healer) (More versatile)
    Q2 – Pally is better in Battlegrounds, But Mage and Pally are pretty even in Arena if played correctly
    Q3 – Pally is better for running low instances and farming gold
    Q4 – At level 80 you will most likely enjoy the Pally. The reason for that is if you get bored of [Example] DPSing.. You can always switch to be a Tank or Healer. Mages are stuck being DPS forever.

    What is more needed in most guilds is tanks and healers which a mage can’t do but a plaly can. In pvp the pally has more flexibility since he can heal himself but a good frost mage is still pretty mean. Either can run low level instances just fine. Leveling with either would be fun, but getting into groups is easier as a tank or a healer so the pally would be easier for randoms.

    Blizzard balances our their classes fairly well so the only real question I have is do you want to limit yourself to just dps? If you’re ok with that pick the mage but if not go with the pally so you can enjoy other roles.
