The best way to make money before the patch, for me was by herbing. I’d sit in wintergrasp and pick frost lotus, they used to sell for big bucks. Anyways, now you can buy those with frozen orbs.
Money Makers:
- Herbalism
- Skinning
- Mining
- Cloth (Wool, Mage weave, Nether weave, and especially Frost weave)
TAILORING – If you do tailoring, farm lots of cloth, make bags and sell them.
JEWEL CRAFTING – If you do Jewel crafting, say [WTS Gem cuts, whisper me] or something along those lines
ENCHANTING – If you do Enchanting, sell your enchants, its a great way to make money, especially if you get abyss crystals. The down side about enchanting is that its really expensive to get up. Go to the auction house, buy armor and weapon vellum’s, put your enchants on there and sell them on the AH.
ENGINEERING – Engineering, is mainly a profession to benefit yourself.
INSCRIPTION – Inscription is pretty self explanatory, make glyphs and sell them.
It may not be instant money, but this is how I make money through these professions.
